student voices
a big part of our mission is to encourage young learners to share their voice and SAY SOMETHING! We’re constantly developing initiatives for students that provide them with the opportunity to speak their creative minds into existence.
write creatively: get published in a digital magazine for kids.
what it is: hutch magazine is a digital publication for kids that showcases creative work from young artists, writers, and storytellers around the world. it’s a space to share their ideas, explore new topics, and see their work celebrated in an online magazine format.
who it’s for:
kids of all ages looking to create, explore, and be inspired, plus teachers and parents who want to encourage creativity.
why it works:
it gives young creators a platform to showcase their work, build confidence, and develop storytelling and artistic skills—all in a fun, accessible, and inclusive online community.
word collector month
what it is: a celebration of all words— words that inspire us, confuse us, and words make us feel something! inspired by peter h. reynolds’ books the word collector and the gift of words, hundreds of schools participate each year during the month of march (or any other time of the year!)
who it’s for: all kids and word-lovers!
why we love it: kids get to explore all kinds of words and learn about them as powerful tools! teachers across the country are using our resources to inspire a passion for language and literature.
