Interns assist our programming and marketing teams in a variety of ways with the following tasks:

• Learn about the our non-profit’s full range of offerings and projects and suggest ways to promote and market our products and programs.

• Write for and maintain social media profiles.

• Conduct internet research on various topics ranging from grants, program partners, and educational resources.

• Write short reports about research and communicate research results to team.

• Draft, proofread, and copyedit various marketing collateral.

• Assist with planning TLC Studio events and parties.

• Complete organizational tasks such as updating mailing lists, and assisting staff on various projects.

We are looking for people who are interested in:

• Non-profit management & operations

• Fundraising/development

• Writing and communications

• Brand management

• Marketing, specifically social networking

• Educational media, including television, web, mobile, and gaming

In-person work at TLC Studios in Dedham Square, MA. is encouraged, but hybrid arrangements are also workable. Internships are unpaid, so college/university credit is required for the program. If grant opportunities are available from your learning institution or educational foundation that can provide financial compensation, we are happy to support those applications.
