read & explore: integrate our founder peter’s books into the classroom with visits & resources

what it is: an inspiring, interactive experience with peter h. reynolds, new york times best-selling author and illustrator of the dot, ish, say something!, and the word collector. schools can host peter in-person or virtually for read-alouds, interactive draw-alongs, creativity talks, and q&a sessions. if a visit isn’t possible, we’ve designed a year-long story activation program, including research-backed activities, printables, and peter h. reynolds original films—to bring peter’s message of courage, empathy, and imagination into classrooms and homes.

who it’s for: students, teachers, librarians, administrators, and families who want to explore creativity, storytelling, kindness, and resilience through hands-on, inspiring experiences.

why it works: peter’s visits and resources elevate learning by sparking curiosity, building confidence, and encouraging students to “make their mark.” interactive sessions and ready-to-use materials let participants engage in meaningful creative exercises, reflect on their own ideas, and strengthen community and classroom connections—all while fostering a lifelong love of reading, storytelling, and self-expression.
