Reynolds Center TLC Launches FabMaker Workshop Series

STEAM workshops at TLC Studios in Dedham Square invite children ages 7–12 to imagine, design, build, and take home their own creations

Dedham, Mass – The nonprofit Reynolds Center for Teaching, Learning & Creativity has launched its new FabMaker Workshop Series, offering hands-on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Math) experiences for students ages 7–12 at TLC Studios in Dedham Square. Led by award-winning STEM educator Liz Dorgan, the 90-minute Saturday workshops invite young people to become inventors, engineers, designers, storytellers, and problem-solvers.

FabMaker Studio is the online 3D design and fabrication platform created and overseen by FableVision Studios and the Reynolds Center TLC. Participants will combine creativity, storytelling, engineering, and computational thinking to design and build imaginative 3D projects–from balloon-powered cars and cardboard arcades to pop-up books, glowing lanterns, and 3D creatures. 

“FabMaker workshops give children the freedom to follow their curiosity, turn ideas into tangible creations, and discover that they have what it takes to solve problems and make something extraordinary,” says Reynolds Center TLC co-founder Paul Reynolds.
