The Reynolds Center and its partners are committed to giving creative educators the TLC and support they deserve as they bring innovative ways to cause learning to the students they serve.
As part of that mission, the MaSTEM Pilot Initiative is kicking off with the FabMaker Summit 2017 - a celebration of the Fab@School Maker Studio mission - which is putting Fab@School Maker Studio digital design & fabrication STEM software tools & hardware in the hands of young STEM learners across the Commonwealth - including many economically-disadvantaged schools from Boston to the Berkshires.
Over the course of two days (March 7-8), attendees from 31 participating communities across the Massachusetts will enjoy an engaging agenda packed with inspiration, storytelling, and hands-on learning of the Fab@School online software tools. Teachers will receive a FabMaker Summit T-shirt and gift copy of Going Places, which Peter and Paul Reynolds will sign and personalize at the summit!
As part of MaSTEM Cadre 1, teachers will be encouraged to stay connected through our a VIP Facebook page - where they can share their questions and special needs, as well as their successes, tips, and best-practices. As our MaSTEM teachers begin using Fab@School, we will feature their work on our site’s classroom spotlight page and other social media.
Together, we will be building out a statewide Education Innovation Cluster model that we expect will be replicated to accelerate adoption and impact of the Fab@School STEM learning mission across the nation - and around the globe.
Yours on the creative STEM learning journey,
Peter & Paul Reynolds and the FabMaker Summit PD team
